Hansen Technologies' ICX 2018 was released last quarter and exemplifies Hansen’s commitment to Customer Experience. 



The new shopping cart functionality focuses on the ease of use for users and developers alike. Creating customers is now profile-based which allows for many defaults and therefore reduces input, clicks and overall handling time. The number of forms has been reduced and it uses dynamic forms which reduce UI clutter and help users focus on fields that matter. New forms like “Bulk Edit”, “Link/Unlink” and “Additional information” further reduce handling time.

Products and Offers that are available to a customer are now grouped in multi-level categories and search functions exists to quickly locate products or offers. The new flows are available for customer creation and product management. A lot of adjustments are available out of the box. With the expansion pack those flows can be further customized to the client’s needs.





ICX’ logging has been standardized and improved to make it easy for monitoring tools to digest the log data. All logging now contains a correlation ID, which makes it possible to get a full picture of procedures and functions that belong to the same overall process. ICX is pre-integrated with the popular, open-source Elastic/Logstash/Kibana (ELK) monitoring stack. ICX’ Deployment Manager can connect to on-premises, or cloud-based ELK stacks. This gives clients the choice of setting up ELK on their premises or use one of the many cloud-based ELK services. Alternatively, clients can use other monitoring tools like Splunk or OpenView.  


The new release allows the use of Oracle Standard edition (for small to medium clients) and contains many changes to the quote-based billing model, introduction of bundles and changes to installment plans.
