Sigma Systems and Suddenlink are Taking Care of Business Customers

Sigma’s SMB and Enterprise voice and data service fulfilment solution delivers flow-through order automation to streamline delivery of services to business customers

TORONTO — June 17, 2013 Sigma Systems, the leader in catalog-driven service fulfilment solutions, announced today that Suddenlink, one of the largest cable operators in the United States, has deployed the Sigma Systems Fulfilment Solution to automate the activation of voice and data services to its business customers.

Sigma’s fulfilment solutions have enabled Suddenlink to achieve full integration from billing, order entry to delivery. Sigma’s business voice, SIP trunking and data services product provisions Suddenlink’s integrated voice and data access device at the customer premise. As part of the deployment, Suddenlink upgraded to Sigma’s latest SMP platform, which enabled the operator to achieve a virtualized infrastructure to deliver its business services.

“With the deployment of Sigma’s newer platform, we now have flow-through automation of our business voice, SIP trunking and data services,” said Kevin Stephens, President of Commercial and Advertising Operations at Suddenlink. “With full integration, we now have the ability to more efficiently manage large-line orders. The added ability to automate the provisioning of a single on-premise device to deliver complex business services to each of our SMB and enterprise customers has already resulted in improved customer experience, and a reduction in support requirements.” The upgraded Sigma platform is now supporting Suddenlink’s business services in each of its service areas.

“Suddenlink understands the needs of the business market, and has chosen to leverage their previous technology investment in Sigma, to enhance services for their SMB and Enterprise customer markets,” said Tim Spencer, President and COO, Sigma Systems. “With complete flow-through automation, Suddenlink can now accelerate its growth in the SMB/SME market, a market in which we are seeing extensive growth across our customer base in North America, CALA and Europe.”

SMP is the industry’s leading multi-service fulfilment platform, and is trusted by communications service providers around the world to deliver hundreds of millions of bundled and converged communication services for business and residential subscribers. SMP was the first multi-service catalog-driven service fulfilment platform to be certified compliant for the TeleManagement Forum’s OSS/J Order Management API.
