April 23, 2026 – Hansen Technologies (ASX:HSN), a leading global provider of software and services to the communications & media and energy & utilities industries, today announced a five-year contract extension alongside an upgrade to Hansen’s latest Customer Care and Billing (HansenCCB) solution with DishHome Nepal.
The renewed agreement builds on a successful partnership that began over a decade ago, empowering DishHome Nepal’s digital transformation supporting growth, operational efficiency and expanded digital service offerings.
DishHome Nepal is the country’s second-largest ISP and a major PayTV provider, delivering connectivity and digital entertainment services across urban and remote regions. The new agreement reflects DishHome’s continued growth ambitions as Nepal’s broadband market accelerates through rapid digitisation, fibre expansion, and increasing demand for high-speed connectivity to support streaming, remote work, and online education.
As part of the extension, DishHome will upgrade its existing deployment of Hansen’s CCB solution, enhancing scalability, operational insight, and product innovation capabilities. The upgrade will evolve DishHome’s billing environment from a traditional pay-per-view model to a more advanced quote-based billing capability, enabling greater flexibility to launch and manage new services across broadband, TV, cloud, and bundled offerings.
The enhanced billing framework is expected to deliver more accurate pricing and revenue management, improved visibility into product and operational costs, and more granular sales reporting, helping DishHome navigate Nepal’s complex regulatory reporting requirements. The upgrade will also strengthen customer engagement and support DishHome’s transition toward a more diversified digital services portfolio.
The extension follows a competitive selection process, with Hansen chosen for the proven functionality, stability, and flexibility of its CCB platform. Over the past decade, Hansen has worked closely with DishHome to support its transformation from a PayTV-focused provider to a diversified digital services leader positioned for long-term growth.
Tara Manandhar, CEO of DishHome Nepal, said: “DishHome’s growth has been driven by innovation and our commitment to delivering excellent customer care and reliable services across Nepal. As the market shifts towards fibre broadband and digital services, upgrading our systems and extending our partnership with Hansen ensures we continue to provide a seamless customer experience while scaling for the future.”
Scott Weir, President of Communications & Media at Hansen added: “We value the strong partnership we have built with DishHome over the past ten years. Nepal’s broadband sector is evolving rapidly, and this agreement demonstrates our shared commitment to supporting DishHome’s expansion with a flexible, future-ready platform that enables more sophisticated commercial models and accurate billing.”
Nepal’s broadband sector is among South Asia’s fastest-growing, driven by rising internet adoption, government-led digital infrastructure initiatives, and a shift from mobile-only access to high-speed fixed fibre connectivity. DishHome has emerged as a central player in this transformation, leveraging its nationwide reach, strong brand presence, and multi-service offerings across broadband, television, and data centre services.
Hansen CCB supports communications providers worldwide in managing customer engagement, billing, compliance, and operational efficiency. The latest upgrade will enable DishHome to streamline operations, improve financial transparency, and accelerate innovation as it targets continued subscriber growth over the coming years.
