E-world 2026 once again proved to be a key meeting point for the energy industry – three days filled with fresh impulses, in-depth conversations, and forward-looking discussions. With high visitor numbers and strong professional engagement, the trade fair provided the ideal setting to meet customers, partners, and industry experts in person.
One particular highlight: at our stand alone, Hansen hosted more than 90 meetings with existing customers, partners, and prospective clients to discuss concrete projects, current challenges, and next steps.
Industry Trends: AI Services, Digitalisation, Data Intelligence, & Regulatory Momentum
The energy market continues to operate in a highly dynamic environment. Digitalisation is advancing rapidly, driven by cloud technologies, automation, and artificial intelligence. At the same time, expectations around data quality, process automation, and regulatory compliance are rising steadily.
AI services are quickly becoming a driving force in elevating the customer lifecycle, powering smarter, faster, and more seamless experiences end to end and bring down costs serving customers.
Due to the significant role of Smart-Meters, energy companies face the challenge of efficiently managing large data volumes, mapping market communication processes reliably, and bringing new products to market within increasingly short innovation cycles. In parallel, sustainability, flexibility, and cost efficiency are becoming even more important.
These developments make one thing clear: future-ready solutions emerge where technology providers and energy providers work closely together and jointly shape innovation.
Hansen at E-world 2026
Our stand provided an ideal platform to showcase our portfolio for the energy and utilities market. Many visitors took the opportunity to learn about proven technologies as well as new developments. Through demos and expert discussions, they experienced first-hand how Hansen’s solutions deliver tangible value – whether in energy trading, customer-centric billing, or the management of large data streams.
The Hansen Suite for Energy & Utilities opens new possibilities for energy providers looking for powerful, scalable, market-aligned solutions. While Hansen’s powercloud is already firmly established in Germany as a modern cloud platform, Hansen’s global Utilities solutions add further depth in trading, EDM, MDM, and automated process optimisation.
Across numerous conversations with customers, partners, and prospects, it became clear how strong the demand is for scalable cloud solutions and intelligent automation – and how essential flexible, future-proof platforms continue to be for utilities.
Visitors to Hansen’s stand were particularly taken with the Hansen AI Agent offering enabling digital first omnichannel customer services on top of the Hansen CIS.
Hansen’s AI-powered VPP solution, which is seamlessly integrated with the Hansen Suite. Impressed visitors with how it unlocks residential flexibility.
And Hansen EDM was commented as being unique in the market being able to act as a central energy data and integration hub in connecting the end-customer consumption with trade management and billing management, thereby breaking down the silos between the asset optimisation & management, consumer services, and trade department.
