May 22nd, 2025 – Hansen Technologies (ASX:HSN), a leading global provider of software and services to the communications, media, energy, and utilities industries, is proud to announce its participation as Gold Sponsor at the upcoming edition of Digital Transformation World.
Over the course of the three-day event, Hansen experts will showcase real-world applications of the Hansen Suite for Communications, Technology & Media – demonstrating how our all-in-one Digital BSS and composable B/OSS platforms help service providers simplify transformation, unlock growth, and get future-ready. Live demos will include our Broadband Growth Accelerator for scaling into new markets, and monetising fibre and OTT services; our Digital Marketplace for launching vertical-specific, partner-enabled offers at speed; and our AI-Enabled Telco capabilities, featuring catalog optimisation, AI-assisted support, and intelligent cloud-scaling. These innovations highlight how Hansen is enabling CSPs to embrace new business models, deploy cloud-native architectures, and deliver customer-centric experiences across industries.
Scott Weir, President for Communications & Media at Hansen, is a featured speaker at Digital Transformation World this year. Alongside Ashish Kar, Vice President, Head of BSS and Core IT Solutions at Telefónica Germany, Scott will discuss one of the industry’s most ambitious transformation programs. At a session entitled Transforming For Commercial Agility, he will cover key elements of the transformation, achievements to date and key learnings along the way. This session will underscore Hansen’s role in helping modernise the telecom giant’s technology infrastructure – and thus accelerating time-to-market, increasing system reliability, and staying competitive in the dynamic German communications market.
Brian Cappellani, Chief Technology Officer for Communications & Media at Hansen, will be participating in two panel sessions at the event, entitled, Migrating to Composable IT: What Does It Take to Deliver Amid Complexity?, as well as Real Solutions to Real Challenges Using Open APIs and Composable IT to Drive Growth. He will also lead a masterclass session entitled Architecting a Composable Component Solution: An Interactive Masterclass To Provide Knowledge and Experience Of The ODA and ODA Assets. The masterclass will provide an introduction to ODA (Open Digital Architecture); participants will also gain a working knowledge of the ODA and how to leverage ODA assets in order to enable business agility beyond implementation.
Hansen is proud to participate in the TM Forum Catalyst project Spatial Web: Open Gateway to the Immersive Future, alongside Telefónica, TIM Brazil, Red Hat, NTT Data, Matrixx Software, and nabstract.io. The project demonstrates how Communication Service Providers (CSPs) can use Open Gateway and TM Forum APIs to deliver Spatial Web Nodes as-a-service – enabling a new class of spatial and location-based experiences. Hansen Catalog plays a central role in this initiative, providing the capabilities needed to model and monetise CAMARA APIs. This allows CSPs to expose network capabilities in a standardised way and unlock new revenue opportunities while enhancing the customer experience in emerging Web 3.0 environments, such as smart cities and augmented reality tourism.
Glenn Gibson, Chief Marketing Officer at Hansen, commented: “CSPs today are confronted with a host of challenges simultaneously: a rapidly evolving technology ecosystem, a more demanding customer landscape, legacy systems, and the associated costs to replace them. The need to enhance customer satisfaction at scale, boost innovation, and launch new services across industry verticals has never been greater. We are excited to partner once again with TM Forum at Digital Transformation World 2025, and showcase firsthand how the cloud-native Hansen Suite for Communications, Technology & Media – also compliant with the TM Forum’s Ready For ODA – provides future-proofs businesses for success in the era of 5G, Cloud and AI, and supports the entire commercial lifecycle from concept to commercialisation.”
Taking place in Copenhagen between June 17th and 19th, the annual forum is the pre-eminent event of its kind worldwide, bringing together key decision-makers and thought leaders in the communications industry. Book a meeting with us here to learn how to unlock new business value by tackling key commercial challenges faced by the CSP of today.
